Did a search for this, couldnt find any posts. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with these tires on a 2002 and up WRX. No, I dont plan on exceeding 130mph (they are H rated, and was going with the stock size 205/55/16) , but i thought it was odd that I cant seem to find any postings anywhere about these tires on WRXs, especially considering their fairly low price and very good reviews on tirerack.
Thanks for any help in advance.

i got a set of these put on last fall. they are very good tire, for what you are paying. i paid round 250 for 4 tires, mounting and balancing (i gto an insider deal).
anyway it comes down to this. you arnt going to get the wicked awsome summer/winter handling that you would out of dedicated snow/dry tires. but these tires are pretty good.
i have mineon my 95 impreza lx for now. 195-60-15s i believe. the tires offer good traction on dry pavement, i never slip off the line, but then agian i dont much HP. my friend who also has these tires, chirps em in first. w/ a launch (ej18 FWD).
for cornering there is alot of sidewall to deal with and that does coem into affect, not to mention that the cornering speeds are nto the fastest. if i take an on ramp at bout 40-45 they will start to make some niose, but will stay stuck on there. takes me about 60-65 on the off ramp to go sideways.
in the rain these tires work great, i almost think they work better int the rain then they do on dry pavement. sure corning speeds are lower, maybe 45 will get ya sideways on off ramps, but cruisign down the highway, you can go as fast as you want and still feel safe.
snow is a little bit diffrent. i did notice good grip in the snow, although they are not the best. when it comes to stopping in a couple inches of snow it takes some effort, but is manageable. cruising in 5-6 inches is no problem.
ice is the weak point. but then agian unless your runngin some nice winter tires this will ebt he same for all tires. on the ice if i punch it i can go through the first 3 gears. before i grab. although if taken slowly you can get up to speed in a better time, stopping is always scary on ice. stopping distances for me were huge on lakes. but on the roads they were alright, OT: i was driving to schol on day after a freezing rain storm. i was in the left lane and the bmw in the right lane slightly ahead of me started to spin through my lane. tried braking, abs kicked in, so i swirved around him. far more effective the tryign to stop.
anyway on gravel and grass these tires offer lots of stick. great on gravel.
hope this long impression of mine helps. IMHO these are some of the better all seasons out there.
