They look great!! So this means that they did not change the bolt pattern of the 06... this is good.... So is the bolt pattern for the 06 STi the same as the 05 STi?

No the 06 STi has a different bolt pattern than all the other imprezas for 02 to now at least.

Kinda heavy...at least for a non 2.5L wrx. Probably wouldnt matter much with the extra displacement of the 06.

I had 20lb 17's a while ago, but took them off. They made the car feel sluggish. Handled good though

Yea thats just what I said :-D The WRX had not changed but the STI did in 05 and 06, because my friends 04 STi mesh wheels fit my 04 WRX hubs without adapters.
SO the 06 WRX does infact have the same bolt pattern as lets say my 04 WRX. for sake of argument. :-)

Thats why i think that the STI BBS's are a steal... very light for 17 (16.5 lbs). Big difference when dealing with rotational weight (unsprung).

Racing wheels are lighter still. The SSR Comps (a.k.a. Type-C) 17 X 7.5 I use are 12.7 lbs. They cost, though. They SSR GT2 weighs in the 14 lb range and cost around $250. Both are forged aluminum.

Ouch!!!! I have found 15.9lbs and 17.3lbs 17" and even an 18" @ 18.2. Will stick to one of these. 21 lbs are pigs! Unless you are WRX. My 2.5 NA would be slower then an old VW bug with those '06's on.

17" x 7 Superleggera = 15.9 Lbs
17" x 7.5 Rota Sub Zeros = 17.3 lbs
18" x 7.5 Rota Sub Zeros = 18.2 lbs.

The GT2 weigh more like 16 lbs, and where can I get them for $250 each?
