OZ Superleggeras

I bought them used about a month ago, but haven't used them much. The car was making a wird rythmic sound in the back and the steering was vibrating so I took the car to a shop, they put it up and found that one of the wheels was severly bent and that the tires had flat spots. I bought them on ebay.

I heard from someone that you can send back a damaged wheel and get it replaced by OZ for 1/2 price. Is this true? If so how? If not any ideas on what to do?

Also, is there any way I could force the guy I bought them from to take them back, any pressure I could put on him or anything. It seems a little harder given how long ago I bought them (over 1 month) Any ideas?

Thanx a lot

I don't know about a replacement policy, but I do know that they will fix rims customers send in for a big fee and it takes a while to get them back. I doubt the a$$hole who sold you those will give you back the money. Best you can do to him is give him a bad review as a seller. That's why I don't shop E-bay.

gold 17x7 --- that count as a dark color? why, do you have a deal going? Or an extra one or somethin?

Maybe I missed somethin but on your website, you only have "bright silver" and "gold"

Thanx

Anthracite used to be offered in that wheel and OZ has a pretty good replacement deal if you have that color

yeah, according to this ebay auction, the 1/2 off msrp is still $309, so if that's really the case, it'd make more sense to get one from tirerack.

The list price for the wheel isn't really 600+ is it? that seems insane given that everyone sells it for less than 300, even that auction has em at 250 a piece.

So from tirerack, for the 17x7 OZ Superleggera and the Continental ContiSportContact 225/45ZR 17 tires mounted and balanced and shipped to me @ 94087 would be $434.22 right?

And if I did this would there be any problems with them and their compatibility with my current three wheels. I believe that the tires on the wheels are less than 3 months old, with only a few thousand miles.

Thank you

OK, the guy I bought them from reply'd :yay: he wants me to ship him the wheel and he'll have it straightened. However, he's saying that the tire isn't dangerous while the guy I took it to said it was. Can anyone who knows help out. I'm a little worried that if I use it and it is dangerous insurance could get upset, plus if its dangerous, I'm not sure I want to use it anyway. However, if its fine and the guy I took it to is wrong, I'd like to know that I don't have to worry about it. If I need to take a picture different somehow or clarify something please let me know. Thanks

Don't know how to add pics to post grrrr. So check http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/thu...bum?.dir=/a12a (1st time I've used it to share pics so let me kno if theres a prob) it was kinda hard to take the pics but I think they look OK. and they're huge! Thnx
