Opinions on Rota Slipstream

Getting closer to a decision about which wheel to get, and I like the WEIGHT (or lack thereof) of the Slipstreams. I primarily Auto-X, so the lightened weight will be good. And the extra 1/2 inch over the stock width would be nice too.

Does anyone own these. Had good/bad experiences on them? I know I'm giving up big brakes....

Thanks

I have them in steel grey on my SRP WRX. They look much better on the car than in pictures. I use 225/50's with them. Best of all, you don't see them at every Sooby meet you attend.

Thanks for the input.
I like the pics I've seen (SubyDude). The thing I'm really looking forward to is the reduction in weight, and new tires. RE-92's are getting me down.

As for unique, I'm pretty sure I'd be the only Subbie in Hawaii with these on.

I looked into these wheels too. They're great for what they are - price, weight. As far as being unique, you may be the only Subie with them, but there are ALOT of Honda guys with these. That's the only real down side. Aren't these copies of the Spoon wheels?

225/50's? How do those fit? The reason I ask is that I was shopping on TireRack and their recommended size was 205/55. I'm not too smart on tire sizes, but aren't those tires going to be a bit wider than the rims? 'splain please

They fit fine. Slips are 7" wide. I was running 225/50's on stock rim (6 1/2" wide) with no probs. But there was a bit of bulge with stock rim. 225's on Slips look and work great.
