Offset question for 2011 STI

Hey there, had a quick question... Was wondering if an 18x9 with a 35mm offset on the stock 245/40/18 would work without any camber or fender modification? or should i stick with an 18x8 with a typical 45mm-55mm offset?

Thanks

18.9 with 52mm will fit 07 STI, I know the 2011 you can go bigger! I'm looking to get biggest rim on my 07 STi with out fender mods!

the 35mm offset will require fender work and negative camber

Will 18x9 with 50mm offset running 235's work on 2007 STi with out fender rolling?

I've done some research since this original post. There are owners running a +35 offset with only fender rolling. More extreme require camber adjustment. +40 offset on the GR chassis is about the most you can do as long as the tire size is kept under 265(e.g. 255/40/18, 245/40/18). And with this info, im probably going to get a 18x9.5 with a +40 offset and run the stock dunlops on them until its time to upgrade and then i may increase the size to 255/40/18. I appreciate all the responses.
