What size off set is on a 93 L sedan FWD. Would a rim with an offset of 45 work? I just ask cause i have a set sitting in my garage of some 16"s

I recommend 16x7 with minimum offset 48 on the Impreza L sedan. I can't guarantee that the offset 45 would work, but a 3mm difference shouldn't spoil the deal. At worst you will need to flatten (roll) the fender lips a bit. You'll need either 205/45 or 205/50 sized tires on that.

Give the post a couple of days to see if someone with the same car will chime in with their own experience.

This is all under the assumption that the bolt pattern/centerbore of the wheel is correct as well.
