Nitto NT-01
OK I did a search typing in the word "Nitto NT-01" and got nothing does anyone know for sure whether their 245/45 ZR17 will fit my 2004 Sti I have progress coilovers and a set of BBS and Team dynamic motor sport rims both are factory spec. 7.5 . I ordered a set but I have time to change the size to 225/45 ZR17 and lastly what can I expect with the larger tire in an open track event. Thanks

I'm not familiar with that particular tire, but you should be able to run it on a 7.5" wide rim (assuming correct offsets). I run 255/40 myself since it is the correct up size for the stock 225/45 (meaning the speedo/gear ratios is not off), but I run them on an 8" wide rim (04 STi also).
A wider tire at the track should translate into better grip. Again, not knowing your tire, I can't predict what the sidewalls will be like or anything else that might affect handling.

Has anyone run this tyre before? I was thinking about trying them out. I have been running Kumho MX's and love them, but these NT-01's look pretty sweet.
