New Tires for 2004 WRX
New Tires for 2004 WRX
Hello,
I have a 2004 WRX sedan and last summer I put my pro drive P1s and Toyo Proxes FZ24s on. This was a good tire, but the rims and tires were also on my 2002 WRX, so I think it's time to replace the tires (if it ever stops snowing). I'm looking for something a little more performance oriented than the Proxes, but I still want to have good traction in the rain. Any suggestions, or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

BFgoodrich Geforce KDW2's (the flame looking tread) get them on tirerack! you wont be sorry. They own every other tire wet/dry (whens the last time you saw a WRX blasting down the freeway at 140 mph in the pouring rain
I did it all the time on these tires. they rock!

Personally, I'd take S03s, Goodyear GSD3s, or the new Falken Azenis over those. They work as well in the wet and are much better dry.
And goign 140 in the rain is retarded, period. Regardless of vehicle or tire choice.
