Hey gang,

Please wb with any and all comments, opinions, and recommendations on the following question.

I really like two types of AXIS wheels (Mesh 2 and Ne-o) check them out on axiswheels.com. They are both machined polished, 5x100 bolt pattern, 17 x 7 inch rim with 1 inch polished lip, and supposedly weigh 18 lbs each (at least that is what AXIS told me).

The problem!!! I was told is that the offset for both of them is 40. Now I have read the thread on offset and I know that Subaru recommends 48-53 offset (02 WRX).

So will I have any real negative effects if I went with either rim? Also, how do these rims hold up to the real world test of strength vs potholes and bumps? Will they bend easy or are they strong?

BTW let me know which rim you guys think is cooler.
