Need help choosing tires

Sup,

I just bought the '06 17" WRX STOCK OEM wheels and now need some tires. Any help is appreciated.

I want low pro's for looks and I'll mostly be driving on the street but on weekends I go up to the snow.

I won't be racing much... and only offroading ocasionally (snow & dirt jsut for fun).

I have an 06 2.5i...

Looking for high quality tires.. which would you recommend?

Thanks a lot for helping this n00b out!

I've always been partial to Falken Azenis. The ST115's are a good dry/wet tire and would run around $120 each.

I run RT-615's on my STi and they are a great tire, but more expensive (~$150 each).

If you still have your stock wheels, put some snow or all seasons on them that you can use for winter(or use the stock tires), and then buy some good street tires for the 17's.

Kuhmo MX, Falken fk-150 and Hankook are popular for street but Ive never used them. I have michelin snow tires for winter and dunlop sp5000's for the rest of the year.

P Zero nero MS for all your daily driving needs (snow included) and if you're budget minded I have heard good reviews of the Kumho Ecsta ASX.

tire help

I've also ran a couple sets of Falken 512's and they have served me well in the snow as well as in the rain, but than again I am a "fairly" conservative driver...

Have a set on our 01 RS- of Pirelli P-Zero Nero A/S - it has handled two years of autocrossing, and winters in Washington and Idaho. Best tire I have ever run!

thanks for the help guys... I decided on the 215 45 P-ZERO Nero M&S because my dad offered to pay for them!!!! what do you guys think?

I was thinking about the 225 but I'm worried that it will rub when I lower it cuz the offset on the stock 06 wrx rims are a bit different... any input?

I have some BF Goodrich traction TA's on my ride. I think they are great all season tire. I'm sure others will disagree, but you don't need a expensive tire if you are not doing some hardcore stuff. you get what you pay for in most cases. I am completely happy with those.

Bridgestone Potenza RE-750's

I liked my Falken ST-115's...quiet, good both wet and dry...but then I tried these Bridgestones...I like them better than the Falkens...~$150ea at Costco...great in water and very quiet...I especially like the rim protector feature that helps to stop the curb rash...
