Lug Nuts for BBS wheels on WRX

Can anyone tell me if the stock WRX Lug Nuts will work when mounting STi BBS Wheels? Any help is appreciated.

You should get some aftermarket lugs. Make sure they are 12x1.25. Ebay a good cheap source.

Lug nuts for BBS

Thanks, are you saying the stock lugs won't work or just that it's better to get aftermarket lugs?

The wrx lugs are kind of rounded, aftermarket lugs seat better for that type of rim. I bought a set of McGard spline drives.

If they're stock STi BBS wheels (from a 2004 STi), then you can use the stock Subaru lug nuts or buy a set of McGard's. The WRX, Forester, STi, etc. all use the same factory lug nuts. The Subaru lug nuts work just fine, as the STi-specific BBS wheels come with a metal insert in the lug holes to allow the proper seating surface. Just make sure you have the metal inserts in the wheels if you do intend to re-use your WRX lug nuts.

I have a similar problem to this. When I bought my 06 WRX I ordered after market BBS wheels, these are not the ones on the STI. The dealer sent my car to a tire shop to have them put on. I got the car back, and it looks like they used the oem lugs. Only they put big flat washers behind the lugs. Do you think this was because the lugs didn't fit right, or is this normal?
I was thinking of using these lugs from Topline products as a replacement, part # C6006b. Would these work? http://www.tradeunion.com/ToplinePro...s/lugshex.html

For OEM BBS wheels, you should use OEM lugs or McGards. That's it.
