i want some mean winter tires

i do a lot of off-road driving in the winter time, i was looking at the blizzak lm-22 and a few others but they dont seem agressive enough for me. they look like road tires(which they are). i dont care about comfort, noise, or treadwear(well, has to last at least 1 whole winter, 7k miles). i just want something that will smoke in deep snow. any ideas?
looking at 15" rims, probably 205/60/15 or 195/60/15 any opinions?
i was looking at getting the high lift springs too, it raises the car about 2" but doesnt allow for bigger tires since the springs still compress all the way, and the stock strut perch is in the way.

For best adhesion to a snowy/icy road as well as deep snow traction, I'd recommend the Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50. The're a bit "soft in the sidewall" so the dry road handling isn't exceptional. Take a look at our winter tire surveys for more good info.

i was looking at those too, i went through the whole line of blizzaks, definatly my second choice if i cant find the tires i want. i was looking at some rally tires last night, the winter ones were way too thin for normal driving, but the mud/gravel tires are the right size, just not sure how long the will hold up on tar, and how long they will hold up going 70MPH on the highway. i think they were made by pirelli. i really want some off-road tires, not just winter tires. i am not too concerned about handling on dry surfaces, as i dont tend to push my car at all during the winter months.
i just want some tires that will look way out of place on a car, like the mickey thompson baja claws, or something of the like. but mainly, i want awesome deep-snow performance

One word: "STUDDED"

I have a set of Dunlop Wintersport M2's but those give up in snow performance for better street peformance, still a great set of winter tires.
