I have had my Subzeros since January 04 and they are great. Even blew two tires on a massive pothole that I didn't see and the rims were not bent or anything...Can't complain in the least....

They're great. I've had my SDRs for over a year if I remember right =). I have hit the average unavoidable potholes and driven "spirited" on them quite a bit.. no issues whatsoever. The finish has held up great as well... I would actually like it if they faded but they haven't (They're gold, but I wish they were silver to reduce the bling factor).

If you're also considering tires, look at the Nitto neogen. www.neogentire.com
I have quite a few miles racked up and they are wearing even and grip great... they are also rated for all season! I sold my stockers after realizing how great they handled in the rain (and snow, though I never hit deep snow with them).

Anyway.... check out subydude for your wheels... peace out!

I have 18" Subzeros and they are friggin strong wheels. I have hit some pretty hard pot holes and bumps and have not yet bent them.

mt buddy has had a set of black slipstreams on his civic for about 18 months and those same wheels were on my se-r for about 6 months. after 2 years, they have no scratches or peeling whatsoever. no bends from potholes or anything. i have gold formels on my WRX and they are cool, too

I've had my SDR's for over a year and have taken them off track three times. They have held up great. I got some nicks from going off track, but other than that no problems!

if i remember correctly the problem with paint peeling was earlier, possibly when they first came out, but Subydude was on top of things with replacements and customer service.

I think everything has been fixed for quite a while now.
I plan on getting some Rotas in the near future.
