help...... tire pressuure for low profile
sorry.... im at work and i dont have time to search the forums. ill be quick..... ordered a set of rota's.... bought a set of pirellie pzero neros performance all season tires. 225/45/17 for 17" rims. have pressure set at about 34psi at frony and 32 in th rear. the front still doesnt seem like it has enough air. park the car on a hill and the front tires looks super low on air but pressure is good. worried that if i always park on a hill like that, my front tires sidewalls will weaken. any suggestions or experiences????
much appreciated.

I have owned several cars that I must say did not look like the front tires
were filled with enough air. They were, however, just fine. I would not worry.
Try BAN SUVS's suggestion, and vary the pressures too, you may find you can
tell a difference in the way it drives.
Also, if the car is parked relatively flat, but the ground under the tire is uneven,
the tire has to distort somewhere. How does the tire look on flat concrete?
Watch your tread for uneven wear, ie: center wear vs outer tread wear if you
are worried.

thanks ban suv for the info. well.... raised it to about 36 front and 34 rear and still looks horrible on the frickin hill. on flat grounds though, looks perfect. i made a mistake looking at the sidewall. thought it said max press of 40 but its actually 51.... so i guessl i will be raising it tomorrow to exactly what ban suvs said. thanks a lot.

Those tires just have softer sidewalls. It won't be perfectly round even at 51 psi. It's not a big deal though. As long as you aren't folding the sidewall over by parking with the wheel on a rounded curve or speed bump or something, it's fine. I doubt there will be a huge difference in how it looks at 38 pounds. It might have a bit better steering feel though.
