Help me out with Tire/Rim offroad combo
I am not planning on getting full on race serious about rallying or offroading, but I do plan on taking my suby 2.5rs on coarses, offroad on dirt, mud whatever. I am looking for a good tire and rim tire combo with an offset or not. I do plan on widening the fenders if needed.
Anyone for this matter help me out. I do have a budget, and I dont need anything that is too tough or strong, but I do need a nice pair of tires and wheels, tell me what to look at... I will keep the original tires and wheels for long highway rides & trips, but I need a pair of tires, that hook up well, are tough, will last, and can drive and last on pavement with no additional wear. Tell me what you think even if it is that I am an idiot, any input, inquiry, help, or advice is well appreciated! - Ian |
Stock wheels with BFGoodrich g-force KDWS. Buy nicer wheels and tired for "normal" use.

15" SSR CompX's and R700 rally tires .....
they are specifically designed for Subi's and Rallies |

That's the best advice out there. KDWS are the perfect tire for what you're looking for, and the top choice for many of the top drivers in our RallyCross program (well, those who aren't in Open class running full on rally tires). :D |

$1452.00 plus shipping

Do they fit my brakes?
|
they do clear the OE WRX brakes
|
But not the OE subaru 4 pots? :(
|
no 4-pots .... sorry

Find some crap steel rims and tires that will fit. Maybe from an old Maxima or something and beat those to hell, then put your stockers back on and pretend nothing happened.
