I really like my Ventus V12s. They work great for daily driving and some corner carving. I haven't driven on them in the rain yet. Overall, I really like them for my everyday use. I do not have any experience with the Potenzas though. Hope this helps.

I love my v12s. Driven through rain on them and they still handle great no matter the condition. Good tires, great price. Although the only thing I don't really care too much for is the soft sidewall. But otherwise Good tires.

same, i can feel the soft sidewall. i got the set for less than $400 including alignment so they were def a bargain at the time since hankook had a $60 mail in rebate. but i'm using 205/55/16

Tirerack sells Hankook Ventus V12 cheaper than Bridgestone Potenza RE760. About $400 shipped for Hankook & $480 shipped for Bridgestone.

For DD, pick whatever is cheaper... damn, ANYTHING other than OEM RE92A! Keep in mind these 2 are summer ONLY tires, so DO NOT drive them on snow/ice.

I've read a lot of posts of people talking about driving their cars on light slush/snow w/ the hankooks on awd systems and saying they're not bad for being summer tires.

I've run 7xx for years (730s, 750s, 760s) and I think they are one of the best all around street tire for the money. I called Tire Rack and asked them to compare them to other similar tires they carry and the guy said he would just go with the Bridgestones. I currently have 760s on both cars. They aren't as good in the dry as the 750s were, but these are better in the wet. Not supposed to run them in snow though.

My last track event was on the v12's... I liked them much better then the kdw's I ran before. They grip very well and for the street they are plenty enough. After pushing mine thru their paces... Unless you drive like an asshat on the street. You'll have no problems..
