Good all season tires
I never read any posts about good all season tires. Soooo I'll share my recent purchase.
I drive an 04 TS. had the stock RE92 crappo tires for two winters and decided I couldn't take it any more. Horrible in snow, horrible in rain, loud on dry roads. What crack smoking idiot at subaru decided to make these the OEM tires????
I recently bought Kumho Ecsta HP4 tires from www.tirerack.com. Now I've only had these for a couple weeks, but I had the oportunity to try them in fairly deep mud and just today very very wet roads (water spraying up over both sides of the car).
They performed great in both situations. At $41 a tire + mounting etc. they were a great deal too. No I won't win any auto-x or drag races, but for normal driving, I like.
