Fn01r-c Bronze Vs. jdm sti v7 split spokes (gold)

thats my car,

Hey im in the market of buying new rims for my black o3 wrx.

I have narrowed it down to 17 by 8 bronze/silver fno1r-c or Gold jdm sti split spokes
I have searched and have studied many pictures and im tied. I like them both

Help me decide which rim I should go with.
Things we should consider, style, cost, cop factor, performence.

I have quotes for both rims, just waiting on my choice, the 5zigen are $100 cheaper and slightly lighter, and wider then the v7 sti rims.

I will be lowerd on sti pink or prodrive springs.

Help me make my choice, I like black on bronze and i also like black on gold so its hard to choose.

i don't know what's wrong with the ones you've got. I like the look of those. But out of the choices you gave us i would go for the silver. The Gold ones only look good on the blue or white cars. But that's just my opinion.

FN01R-C does not come in a true bronze anymore, just FYI, they discontinued the really royal dark bronze for a lighter, almost gold look. I know because I was trying to order them and ended up talking to the US sales rep trying to figure out why my rims were not the right color.

If you do want that color, Rota makes rims in both the FN01R-C and STi V7 rims too, for much much cheaper

Just to help, I chose the V7 splits, they look great, you can fit a fun factor tyre on it, and it is JDM . . .

Cheers,
Austin

Rush, do you ahve pictures of your rims?

I think i got the darker color and the lighter one.

Unfortunately the person i purchased them off of probably got the set when they made thecut, so i have one dark bronze and one light bronze. I like the light bronze a bit more and the darker bronze seems to be defective and chipping (which may be why the stopped making them).

and just to show i didnt jack your thread, i would go for hte 5zigens...IF you are getting thick tires (45's) my friends had a couple of these and they bent.

Thumbs up

go with the sti wheels, they look a lot better and the gold color really pops on the black paint. plus they're sti wheels so you know they will perform well and are built to last.
