Faken vs. Pirelli vs. Michelin Pilots

I have a friend who has a 350z. He drives this car in all weather conditions, rain, snow, dry. He was wanting to know if the Falken GRB-FK451 was a decent tire. He was looking at the Pirelli's and the pilots but was not sure if they were worth the extra money. His wheels are stock BTW. The car is also a lease and i am not sure when it's due. Thanks for any help you can give.

I have driven a car on the Michelin Pilot 2's and they hold to the road, and hold very well under wet and braking conditions. They are kind of loud, but not as loud as my falken azeins.

I just got Falken 451's the other day. I have not had a chance to really push it on dry pavement, but so far they feel promising. Better than the Yok ES100's I was riding on.

In the rain? It's like having God Mode. I've never had tires like this in the wet. It was pouring the other night and I'm cruising 70-80 and not even a hint of hydroplane. it was beautifiul.

So far.. me like.... and a lot more affordable than the other choices.

Your friend wants a high/ultra high performance all season tires if he wants to drive in the show w/o being on a flatbed towtruck. Depending on his trim level/ wheel size, Falken 512s, Michelin Pilot Sport A/Ss & Pirelli Nero M&Ss would be good choices if you/he likes those brands.

451's are great in the rain, but really suck in the snow.

We went out for a drive last night. First time I got to push the 451's hard at all. They were great. I'm still getting used to them, finding the confidence zone, but they do grip better than the Yok ES100's for sure. And a couple of the other guys were sliding around a little while I still felt VERY planted.
