Anyone had any experience with this tire? Performance, tread life, wet traction, what's the word?

STICKY!

Just bought them about a month ago. Using them on stock rims for the winter. I have 17" OZ rims with Bridgestone SO3s that I use for the non-winter months. Thinking about trying out the BFG T/A KDs during the summer.

The F1s are sticky in the wet. Cost me $157 each at a local Goodyear store.

Best wet traction tire I've driven on. Dry traction is great, but exceeded by the S-03, Pilot Sport, and Pirelli Rosso. I recommend the Goodyear constantly because it lasts longer than all of the aformentioned and it sticks like a gem.

No snow. You'll get stuck at a stoplight...

Wow, those are great-looking tires, and very well-rated to boot. Has anyone tried them in REALLY REALLY HOT weather? It commonly reaches 115 degrees or more here in the summer, which translates to a pavement temp of 140-160 degrees. I've already been warned that the Falken tires are slippery in hot weather, so I'm trying to find something that can take the heat.

Ksik,

The test results are averages from the whole gang. You're privledged to my personal thoughts and experiences... It's a close call, but I still stand by the post.
