Each car, driver, and tire prefer different types of pressures. Usually, for a base line, I'd start with the numbers on your driver's side door. (Not sure which car you drive, but that's the "recommended" pressure from the factory). I like my ride to be a bit firmer and not let the tires get sloppy, so I tend to bump up the pressure maybe 3-5 PSI from the factory.
Since every sidewall is different, it's hard to say exactly what it is you need. If you want a harder ride, I'd say stick around 35 PSI for daily driving. If you want a softer ride, stick around 30.
