Bridgestone RE750 225/17's on wrx wagon?
Are the 750's narrow enough to stuff 225/45/17's on my wagon w/ stock springs and struts? I getting tires soon and want to know.

What are the specs on your wheels? 50 or higher is better. Under 50 and it's a crapshoot.
I just ordered 225/45-17 Falken 451's for my wagon. 48mm offset. I'm willing to have the fenders rolled if that's what it takes.. then I won't have to worry about it anymore

and yes it mostly depends on offset, if you rub or not.

sorry ban, yeah s-03's better in the rain, these last couple of weeks of horrendous rain have saved me and my wrx many times, driving almost every weekend from santa barbara to the bay area, i have seen 5 cars hydroplane, 3 trucks, and 2 big rigs. one almost cut into me, but my trusty s-03's handled it superably

Had them done here in Watsonville at Body by Hank. He trimmed them instead of rolling them. he said that with the thin metal they make the fenders out of, he couldn't guaranty that rolling wouldn't distort the outside of the fender and rolling them that much would crack the paint, and might extend to the outside as well. He did a good job on the trim and put some paint on the edge to prevent rust. Also, if I decide to go back to 215's, I can put the rubber trim back on and it will look stock again.
