Bridgestone RE070's

Hey all,
I'm getting a set of tires from my Porsche 944S2. I am really pleased with the performance of the RE70's on my STi(tires that come w/ car from the factory). I have inquired about these tires at a few tire shops and said the tires don't exsist or they don't come in a 16 inch tire size. They mentioned the RE750's that run $160 a tire. Are these the equivalent tire to the RE70's for a 16 inch wheel or am I sh*t out of luck? Thanks in advance!

Well, the 750's and 70's are completely different as far as tread design is concerened. $160 is alot for one tire in my opinion. I have been running Toyo RA1's on my track car (87' 944 S ) and they are awsome tires, much cheaper than the bridgestones too. In the rain they are pretty good, and when its dry they do hold like glue, also they have stiff sidewalls. Either way good luck.

I've went through a set of Re070's and didn't like them at all. I recently got a set of Bridgestone S-03's on clearance and it's remarkably better. I think Tire Rack has some Re050 Pole Positions on specials right now.

70's were made for the Sti - they only come in 225/45/17

The S-03's are being replaced but come in lots of sizes
