Brakes and New Rims?

I own a 02 WRX sedan in PLT. Any suggestions on 18", I really like the SSR Comps in anthracite but $$$$$$!!!. I would prefer 18" to fill out well but would consider buying 17". I am also wondering if I purchase a Brake kit (stoptech etc) after the 17"/18", can I go back to my stock 16" in the winter? Maybe just go to the goodrich lines and live with the stock calipers? Any suggestions? I live in WV so I have to run the winter crap!
Thanks

Stoptech's won't fit under the stock WRX 16" wheels, so you won't be able to go back to your stock wheels in the winter if you install Stoptech.
i think some of the Perrin/Wilwood kits might fit under stock wheels, so you'd be able to runs 18s in the summer, and the stock 16s in the winter. then again, i could be wrong.

The Brembo 328mm rotor and 4 pot calipers will fit under the SSR Comp 17s and 18s no problem. I don't have the template on the Stoptech so I can't check it out. You may wish to call the Stoptech folks and ask them for a comparison of their unit and the Brembo.
