bfgoodrich traction t/a

I picked up a set of these at T rating for my rex since I had a flat and my other tires were bald, did I make a mistake in speed rating? The american tire co rep. told me it was fine, but now I'm reading up and I think T (118 mph) is not enough, let me know your inputs.

do you plan on racing the car at the track? even if you do 1/4 mile youre not gonna go higher than 118.

Well I don't plan on going over 118mph, I thought lower rating mean weaker sidewalls and etc? I do a bit of spirited driving.

Anyone has any experience with these tires? better then sotck re92? Just got them so I haven't tested them out yet.
