Align is fine, tires had about 6k, centers have plenty of tread only that very edge part is worn, it happened on the fronts (worst case). Tires are done for and now i gotta spend 900 on another set, any advice is apperciated??

You would get wear on the inside with stock alignment specs. 5k on a set of four, damn.

are those ps2's? i used to work at ATC and i havent seen tires wear like that on the outside. the only thing that can cause that is a ****ty alignment job(but u took it to 5 other shops), or you were running on low psi, which would cause the tire to roll over and wear out the sidewalls faster. i had my ps2's for almost 20000 VERY HARD driven miles, and i did not see any wear like that at all, nor have i seen anyone with the same problem with these tires

i actually only took it to 3 places, but they all said perfect allign (i had it done when i put the new tires on) yes they are ps2's, kept good pressure, maybe from not rotating enufff????

I dunno what to say

it cant be from not rotating enough. you usually rotate tires every 5k miles

did it only happen on 1 tire? how is the rest of the tread on the tire with the worn sidewall?

i drive it hard, but ive kept the pressure good etc, and the middle of the tires have mucho tread, thats why i don't understand it. It happened on the 2 front tires pretty equally, but the backs are worn as well. (fronts were the bad case where 1 went flat), Everyone said it wasn't my fault etc... and that my align/toe must be of f but thats not the case. Im just pist because of the mucho $

sounds to me like u raped those tires. outer shoulder wear is most likely caused from you taking corners VERY hard. when you get an alignment next time..see if they can give you more negative camber so the inside wall wont wear as bad.

On a side note..do u have the specs from your alignment? if so, what was your front camber set to?

I think michelin's do that, I have had a set, my parents have them on thier mercedes and the outsides wear really fast on them, that sucks, a hard lesson to learn about michelin I had to do it too.

Oh I used to work at a shop and the only tire I have ever seen explode while beading, was a michelin, I don't know if it coincidence or what but I don't like their tires.
