Anyone actually running a 40mm offset?

I really like a set of 17x7 wheels, the problem is that it only comes in a 40mm offset. I've searched and found that running this low of a offset can cause potential problems with handling and wheel bearings. I'm wondering if anyone is actually running this setup and if you actually had problems associated with it.

40 will give you nothing but trouble.

What wheel are you talking about?

I'm looking at a set of RS Limited Ricochet, like a SSR Comp. knockoff. It's weird because their website, along with tires.com have 40mm listed as an application for a WRX.
