225/45/16 on an L?
I own a '00 Impreza L, and I was wondering if it is possible to run 225/45/16's instead of the reccomended 205/50/16. The width difference is less than an inch; and the overall diameter is .1 inches smaller. Would there be any rubbing issues, especially since I plan to lower the car 20mm? I see Dexter always telling the RS/WRX owners to switch from the stock 205/55/16 to 225/50/16, and I was hoping to get similar benefits for my car.

Car Info: 1995 Subaru Impreza 1.8 L
It wont work on stock wheels, like WRX or RS rims because it will rub the rear struts.
However, I have some Rota's with 225/45/16's on my L and I had to roll the crap out of the fenders and even cut the front fender liner and Im still rubbing (its rubbing the frame aparently up inside the rear wells)
But heres some pics if you want to see for yourself:

I recommend sticking with 215's at the most unless you are seriously going to track the car.
