2005 Bbs Sti Wheels

How Much Dose The Stock 2005 Sti Bbs Wheels Weigh With Tires

Not sure exactly what the weight of those rims are but I believe it's around 16lbs. The tire weighs 27lbs according to tire rack, so 43 lbs per rim. Seems high for the tire weight, but I'm going by tire rack numbers.

RE070s are quite heavy, but it's worth it for the sidewall stiffness. Light tires = soft sidewalls.

I weighed mine

I weighed my wheels/tires on a digital scale when they were brand new. The 2005 STi stock wheel and stock tire (together) weighs 45.20 pounds.

The wheels are only ~17 of that. RE070s are HEAVY.

Holy crap! That was a good educated guess on my part!

I was only a half a pound off.

Actually the wheel only weights 15.5 lbs and the tire weights 27 lbs according to tirerack.
