Hey guys

I am totally and beligerantly clueless on the clearance on the WRX. I have heard so many different things.

I have a set of 225/45/17's That will fit on a 17X8 wheel right ?

I also have a wrx sedan and was wondering about any rubbing issues or odometer issues.

why'd u get 8 in wide wheels and only 225s?

The only problem I could see with those is if the wheels have bad offset, or those tires are insanely wider than most 225s.

Just as a future reference, tho u probably don't care, check TireRacks spec sheets for tires. It'll generally tell you everything you need to know. Information such as physical width, recommended rim sizes, and other useful info.

 

Rush- 225/45/17 tires will fit 17x8 wheels. As for rubbing issues, i don't have any rubbing issues w/ my 17x8 Torques on my lowered WRX.
