16" Motegi MR7. 42mm offset. Good ?
Hi,
I am getting a set of Motegi MR7, with tires for a sweet deal (400$). They are 16x7 with 5x100 lug pattern.
Offset is 42mm.
I would like to put these on my 2000 2.5RS Sedan.
Many posts on this board suggest that the offset should be wetween (50 -53mm) with a 2mm tolerance. Hence I am reluctant to get these.
Can any one tell me if it is OK to get these ?
Its a real sweet deal that I dont want to pass up.

If I recall correctly, 42mm is indeed too small an offset for GC8's. As for Motegi's, they are indeed very inexpensive but I have heard that their quality is only so-so. Something to think about I guess. Good luck!
