+1 for Tire Rack!

Ok, so I decideded to get some low-cost 16x7s and long-lasting all season tires to replace my 17s, and I ordered them as a package from tire-rack.

They mounted and balanced them for FREE, AND included nice chrome lug nuts that even have a deeper seat than gorilla spline drive lugs. Shipping was only $60 to the house, and the wheels were well protected by cardboard and a foam sheet on the faces.

Needless to say, I highly recommend tire-rack.

There was a minor hiccup in the transaction, but I'm quite pleased overall.
Though their website said the wheels were in stock, they had to be special ordered, and it took about a week and a half to get them.

I've ordered just tires from them many times, and usually the shipping is super fast.

Anyway, good job guys!

P.S. Don't outsource your C/S to INDIA!!!

Great. Just out of curiosity, did you call TireRack, clicked on the TireRack banner or went to TireRack site directly to make a purchase?

Since I was mostly concerned with cost (and decent looks), I went with the Sport Edition D5 (17.2 lbs, LP cast/shot peened-seemed like decent quality). I went with Kuhmho Ecsta ASX all season 91Ws. My friend bought these same tires from tirerack for his Audi Ultrasport and was happy with them.

If money weren't an issue, I'd have gotten the Gram Lights 57s =), but the D5 looks good- similar to my old Rota SDRs which don't come in 16s. I like the way the SDRs and Prodrive spokes better blend into the outer wheel, but oh well =). For $89 bucks, I like 'em... well all but the POS plastic hub centric ring... do you sell metal ones?
