hey guys i was wondering what tire size should i get for those wheels. and what tires do you guys recommend.

 

225/45/17 stock size is ideal. ive ran 245/40/17 but i liked the stock size better

 

i say go with the 235's.....

 

actually what are your plans for the tires? track,daily,little of both? the type of tire you buy is most important than the tire size.

 

Well, since the '04 size is 7.5 inches wide, most of the info I've read states that the maximum recommended tire width is a 245, compared to the '05 wheel, which is 8 inches wide and can supposedly accept a 255, maximum. But tire size (aka all season, summer, extreme summer, etc.) is just as important, maybe more important than width/aspect ratio/rim size. Just like proper air pressure is crucial.
