Wanted: Giken Subaru or Prodrive front bumper
Looking for the 2001/2002 WRC Prodrive front bumper manufactured by either Giken Japan or Prodrive. Used or new
it can be scratched but not damaged. Colour is unimportant as i will have it painted.
This could be a private or a sale by a retailer. I will not order from a retailer located in Arizona. I would prefer a retailer in north eastern US or in Eastern Canada.

Well that depends....
I gave $1000.00 US to the owner "Alex" of this I-Club forum at the first of February this year to order me one from Japan. He apparently did order it, yet I still have not seen it arrive... I will tell you if I ever receive it in June 2003.
He works for Bozz Performance the "Official" North American Importer for Subaru Giken…
Ask Alex.. If he can get you one… Good luck..

Cool. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Are you interested in organizing a group buy (well, me and you anyway) on the Giken bumper? Perhaps we can get a break on the price/shipping.
Also, are you still selling your OEM bumper and was that $250 CDN$ or US$?

PS - I talked to Giken directly and they told me we have to order from Bozz Power. Just in case that doesn't work out I am also working on getting an STi Prodrive style front bumper sent over. I'm waiting for pricing as we speak... Interested? ... assuming the Giken thing doesn't work out for us.

Bozz Performance...
Well Bozz and Alex S. has $1600 of my Canadian dollars... Until he returns that money to me or gets me my bumper I will not proceed on any purchase of any part with any online retailer...
I will be starting a website in June. It ill be for people to post there problems with Online Automotive and Online Automotive High Performance retailers.
Sort of a Consumers Reports against problems in the industry.
Also a part of the website will deal will Automotive manufacturers and their warranty claims after people have modified their vehicles.
Should be interesting to see, as many Online retailers in the US and Canada seem to take the customers for granted and assume they have no resposibilty... In short they have allot to learn from PEP boys or Canadian Tire!!!

I hear ya bro. I almost got shafted from a guy in TO... wanted me to send him a money order for a front bumper and when I told him I had a guy coming to pick it up and give him cash he bailed... brutal stuff.
Anyway, did that $1600 include everything?
Perhaps we should contact Giken, tell them what is going on, get two bumpers sent and then let Giken get their money back from Bozz? Anyway, just throwing ideas around...
I'd really like to get one of those bumpers big time. Let me know what you think.

As another point of interest, what city is Giken located in? I have a relative living in Nagasaki that might be able to bring a bumper or two back with him on the plane... just a thought...

Hi Subaru_Hag, I got a response from Bozz and they tell me your bumper is on the way so we won't be able to ship together. But at least thats good news for you!!
