I am looking for information on where I can purchase a new or at least slightly used 2.2 liter to replace the motor in my impreza outback wagon. i have a 1997 with the newer model engine (i believe). I am not looking to tune the engine, just to replace the current one with something with less miles. It currently has ~150,000 miles on the car and is in good shape other than some oil leaks. I simply don't have the time to take the engine out, tear it apart, find all that needs replacing and then do the work. I just want something that I can swap out one weekend. Does anyone no who would sell engines like this (maybe even take a core swap) and be willing to ship to michigan. I know this is common with japanese engines for hondas and nissans but i have found little with subarus on the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
