Question Vishnu Exh fitment problem

I just finished fitting a Sig. series with Catted D.P. to a 03 WRX, and had an issue with the divorced section hitting the bottom of the firewall and front suspension arm mount. There is no easy way to get any movement there - I'm thinking of sizing the holes on the downpipe .020 or so and grinding/pounding other area? or I could wait till I install uppipe and try to clock turbo? or finally I could just order non catted D.P. from Vishnu if they have changed.

Thanks

Sorry to hear you are having problems with the installation. Would you happen to have pics showing the issue. I'm trying to wrap my head around based on your description but failing miserably

For sure! I'll take some and get them off to you in a couple days, bit busy right now - last race of the year this weekend at Pacific... I'm sure you understand.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Here's is a shot from the top. Hopefully you can see the area (vent hose is photo happy) and give you a rough idea. If not I'll have to put it on a lift and get some good photos - Thanks
I know its the area that is poorly lit..but its hard to hold a shop light and a camera in there. The contact area is right where the divorce tube curves towards the D.P.

Thanks for the photo! Is that picture taken with the sig downpipe fully istalled (ie. pushed all the way on the turbo studs)?

The downpipe is tight on the turbo housing with an O.E.M. gasket. I have heard that the D.P. is different for STi's? would that cause this problem on a standard WRX?

Thanks Guys

Could I trade this one in on a non catted version? if you think it might fit better.
