Exactly. The EVO driver doesn't know how to drive, clearly has never been to the track, but has a nice car.

The WRX driver was much better.

I have no idea what speeds they were going or what the speed limit was, but the EVO was clearly dangerous as he was going faster than he has skill, even after slowing down as a response to almost losing it in the beginning.

+1 for the riders.. Every time they came up to the riders, I was oh nooooo dude slow down. I too know what it feels like to be riding along and some douche comes flyin past you, nearly clipping your front tire as he cuts in from of you, just to try and clip the turn. The only thing that goes through your mind is "oh crap, and You ****!"

I agree with saving for the track....

plus, you never brake in a turn. you get that done before you enter the turn. if you need to slow down, you work the clutch. that is another reason the car is so unbalanced

OMG that is lame. this is the first time that I will agre with mbasile, not on the insurance rates but just in the fact that they are idiots. I am down for some good old fashon bendy roads but there were way to many people there. you could tell that both of them were horable drivers. I dont think that you need track time to be a good driver. I persanaly learned on the street from an old frend Fritz (RIP).
Both of these guys are dumb. I love to see all the guys from the city that think they can race on back roads because they have played some xbox or PS. They are always the guys that try to race me when I am comeing home from snowboarding. as I keep driving safly with the other cars it only takes a few miles to see them in the snow bank . I am not totaly agenst racing on the street but I do have to say that if you do it. you sould try and do it a little more responsably and definently not do it on a road like that dumb dumb dumb. dont for get that the subaru driver is a dumb *** for geting that close to the evo with every that was going on (the evo not having a good driver) and all the people. it would have been a disaster for him if he would have had to hit his breaks. If you do race on the street please do it alone. (not with trafic)

If you hate them so much why don't you keep your bike on the track also? For some reason riders think they own the mountain roads. I've been flipped off and yelled at by riders, but they are doing the exact same thing I'm doing, enjoying my car on nice twisty roads. I can see that riders would get hurt more if anything were to happen, but that's no reason why people in cars can't enjoy the same hobbies they do. And by no means do I push the car so hard to hear a squeal in my tire or ever cross the double lines, but I still get dirty looks.

But more times than riders do I get the finger or dirty looks from bicyclists. Bicyclists seriously thikn they own the road and think cars shouldn't be on the mountain. It's more of a dangerous sport for them to downhill ride than driving in a car.

Also, with mountain roads, most of the accidents involve themselves and the tree or wall. Rarely do innocent bystanders get hurt, but I know that is no reason to do stupid things on public streets. Saving just one fatality is well worth telling idiots to stay off the mountain and go to the track.

and for those saying go to the track, if you paid, I'm sure ANYONE would gladly take it to the track. Even with auto-xing, it's way too expensive. So instead of saying "take it to the track", figure out a way to make motorsports safe and cheap, because as we all know, motorsports is the most expensive sport out there.

I don't think this was a really safe thing to do at all.

I'd have to say take it to the track or... do it when there are less people on the road. Sure motorsports are expensive, but let's think about this logically. Is it really worth the risk of damaging your car, someone else's car, or injuring you or someone else? Car repair and medical bills are expensive.

Tracks arent practical, but driving over the line and passing streetbikers with jerky wheel movements at speed is stupid.

Evo's lines were so in consistant, at least the subie guy had good apexes and exits that wouldve stomped the EVO multiple times

awesome road, just takes a brain to drive it like you should.

the slowmo sequence to show flames was a nice touch to this stupid video. they should have done slowmo sequences on everytime the evo almost lost it.
