Wow...the C6 Z06 is a beast

My buddy who posts on toronto-integras sent me this link. Average driver (pretty noobish if you ask me) runs the 1/4 mile with his new Z06 on street tires. Pretty impresive results.

What's with the stupid little burnouts?

I don't think that there is a car in production for the same cash that will touch that.

So so nice. It will be capable of better times than that too.... I'd say probably 11.5 or lower with a better driver. Don't know what was with the little burnouts in the beginning, but with a better launch he could beat that time..... I love those cars

Are these serious questions? I guess everyone's too used to AWD drag racing.

I think they mean they were pathic, pointless burnouts. Wich they were. My wifes' jetta could smoke the tires better than that.

No... he's supposed to be warming his tires. He's just barely breaking them loose and then doing it again. With a 505hp 7.0L V8, I'm pretty sure it would be damn easy to sit there smoking the tires... but apparently that guy can't do that.

thats the way your suppossed to heat street tires...if you do a huge smokey burnout you just overheat them...
