A vid of my slow HPDE lap at Buttonwillow

I attended the Speed Ventures event on FEB 25 at Buttonwillow. The track was in 25A configuration in a clockwise direction. I liked the track a lot with the elevation changes and especially the esses! :disco: The event was booked full so I went to the Beginner group just to drive the track. I hit a lot of "traffic" on the track but it was a little ego boost passing all the noobs

sweet, I was there on sunday the 26. we had lots of subies
we ran the track in the 13A configuration, counter clockwise, with the sweeper and the bus stop. yesterday was particulary fun for me because it was the first time i ever spun and went off track in about 15 track days

Any wrecks on SUN? On SAT, a last gen M3 and a C5 Corvette hit the wall near the Sunset turn.

I saw an S2000 and a G35 come close to hitting the wall but the worst was a miata that flipped between the sweeper and Magic Mountain. the car is destroyed but the driver was saved since he had a full cage, I think it was a Spec Miata.

Wow! That must of been crazy to see a Miata flip around. Did it go airborne?

I let my friend with a Evo VIII borrow my camera that day too. I think he was chasing a Chrysler Crossfire.
