STI - Crash in the Canyon

If this guy had known how to handle that oversteer he would've been fine. Of course, I'd been driving RWD cars for quite some time before I got my WRX, so oversteer is like an old friend.
This sounds logical to me.......
If I was the motor cycle driver, I would have been pissed.
Out side inside outside. Just keep that in mind. I've driven rally stages tighter and faster than that. You'll be surprised what your subaru can get you out of.

I wish I could see his front tire, but at :23 seconds he got the wheels pointed directly at the canyon. After he hits the wall and you see the skid marks you can see he tried to turn at the last second, way way too late.
Lesson to be learned, don’t brake at the apex, unless it’s a little left foot brake and you still on the throttle. The second stab of the brake is what screwed the guy up. if he had maintained throttle, and just turned the wheel into the skid he would have had a nice little slide and carried on his merry way. The only reason he had oversteer was because he came off the throttle in the first place, and all the weight went forward.
*shakes his head* he wasn’t even going that fast.
Anyone know where this is? Looks like the grade here in Carmel/Monterey.

that sucks.. but thats why you gotta drive tight and not think you own both lanes.. atleast he is ok, that could have been much worst had there been more oncoming traffic.
he wasent ever in the other lane....
*watches the movie again*
confirmed: the most he makes it into the oncoming lane (other then after he looses it) is at the beginning when he stradles the yellow line.

woulda shoulda coulda, i have head all this before, it it would have been done right we would not see the video. every body can say this and that until it happens to you,
grreat tires are not gonna work if there is a fine layer of sand across the road.
or we can say he should have never looked at the wall, cause we all know we when lose control of a car you always hit what you look at.

to bad he was not going faster, i feel horrible, to bad you just cannot go out and do what ever you want without consequence, to bad he was not drunk, then you could blame it on that.
