STi around Nurburgring

Brits flog an STi around the A-ring

I'm not 100% sure this is the Nurburgring, but I can't think of any other track it would be. Correct me if I'm wrong. The video is a little long and boring, but still worth a watch, especially watching him chase down the pocket rockets.

Looks like nurburgring... I think I caught the banked turns, but the camera is kinda mounted low.

as well as having an extra $14,000 left in your pocket. Im sure with that you could make an STi more then capable of hustling an M3

Ok, this may be a sort of N00b question for some of you who have tracked your cars before, but do they typically allow cars and bikes to race at the same time?

We're just getting a track here in SLC late summer/early fall and from what I can gather they won't allow bikes and cars to race at the same time, at least at the beginning.

cool vid, but bad camera angle, could have positioned it more vertically so wouldnt see the dash too much and more of the road

The Nurburgring is officially a public road that you pay a 'toll' to drive on, so in one lap you will see bikes, cars, tour buses, people having an unwind lap on the way home etc. When it is open, it is open to everyone.

You can go all-out? I really can't see it being safe having a bus and that M3 (other thread) together at the same time.. haha.

you can go all-out... just don't crash.
20 euro's buys a lap around the track... probably extra if you scratch their armco's up... haha...

There is an etiqutte on the track, you drive slow then you drive on the outside and indicate your turns so that your intentions are clear to all.

At the Nurburing you are held responsible for your own actions(driving), imagine that!! If there was a Nurburing equivalent in the US, lawyers would be handing out flyers at the entrance!

its 15euros for one lap and its open to everyone and everything. In the last top gear episode the "queen" of the nurburgring took a Ford transit van around and was passing porsches and motorcycles. Positive Gs are fun

I couldn't imagine taking a deuce around the track. A hummve is scary enough driving on the autobahn couldn't imagine wat a deuce would have been like
