It's not really a "hardcore" sport... buy I played for about 12 years, and let me tell you... once you start playin highschool soccer it turns into a pretty rough sport, with LOTS of contact and I also play goalie though so the contact that happens there tends to be more viscious

this vid reminds me where all my injuries started and ended up in full ACL knee replacement just recently. when i was like 12 i was going to go kick a ball when mid kick the defender(***ot) kicks my leg instead of the ball causing from the knee down to go out to the right while the upper half of my leg stayed straight with my body, it looked nasty like my leg was totally broken and i got hauled off in an ambulance. gosh i wish i had that on video, it would be sweet.
dude i played travling competitive soccer starting at 11 years old and it was rough from then on. cleats to the face, getting kicked on purpose(some of you say its gay but when you got leg muscles like they do that shiznic hurts), fists fights, etc. straight up it is a rough sport at all ages.
