These machines are in the mid 7's @ 1/4 mile...Out of a 13b rotary engine you can get as much as (800-1100 HP)...its totally insane...

There is light, but they just had a light black-out, so everything is starting to come back up...Ill try and post some other races during the day...

 

In link number one, how come there was an explosion coming out of the hood, towards the front window, after the launch?

 

rotaries are very sexy...until they blow up on you! I know from experience !

 

Most of them/us, run with customized exhaust that come out thru the sides, to prevent damage when they wheelie....explosion is one of the best things for the rotary world, compression, turbo, nos, alcohol...etc... thanks

 

Easy fix, if they do, but in order to come out safe out of the drivers seat, be aware, fly wheel, etc, can ripped straight thru you and other pieces of eng. parts...thats why we weld a steel plate...to prevent injuries when that happens...
