It was bound to happen, those vett's have PLASTIC intake manifolds. With the nitrous under pressure and running through it, the manifold blew apart. More than likely the fuel then sprayed all over the place = Fire. Just remember, replace that manifold before you run nirtous.

granted the guy may not have been too smart running spray on his vette, but if some guy was yelling "awsome! aswome!" while my car was on fire, i would take my helmet off and beat the guy with it to a pulp.
