Yeah, Yanagi Ryuuken is "famous" in Japan for going on TV and doing no-touch force crap. It's all a big crock and that vid of the scrapper kid beating him up pretty much proves it.

My personal opinion is that Aikido is strong against people that are overly aggressive or only know how to grapple, but against a smart striker an Aikidoka WILL have trouble. My 2 cents.
