Well from my side (17 years as an officer) depending on what he had for a cruiser makes a difference. Crown Vics get bad break fade that comes on quick and if he had an old Caprice the anti lock brakes are awefull they have made many a cruiser overshoot a turn or a stop where we could always make it before. A ton more weight doesn't help either.
