Wow, that's amazing.
I know luck had a *lot* to do with his survival of this horrific wreck, but I think this is also a testament to the amazing safety features of the Impreza itself, and of many Japanese cars. The cars are built around the driver, not vice versa -- you can see how well the car collapsed everywhere *but* the passenger compartment; the car wrapped itself in a ball around that space, which means the crumple zones functioned perfectly.

Why is it that retarded people, like roaches, survive and infest our world with idiocy? I'm glad that the Subaru performed like it should have, but you have to be a moron to run into a semi. At any rate, this guy should be glad to have avoided a Darawin award, and should further make a statement of individuality with more ink!

He didn't rear end the semi. He was hit from behind and PUSHED into the semi in front of him.

My apologies, came home (I WALKED!) from my buddies movie and beer night with a few too many beers in me and got a little mean streak going after watching a few vids. I even said something not nice about the new Herbie movie! I'm sorry for what I said about this guy, he did nothing to deserve that.
