so i heard about this thing called youtube yesterday, and figured i should be on the cutting edge of technology so i made a video...BY MYSELF!

Post more videos too, i know Stiylin has some and the Norcal Hardcore dirt thread guys, the blue and yellow WRX that slid off the cliff, stuff like that. cool

Sweet vid.

The first part of that video looked like one of those Toyota Tacoma commercials with the zooming and stuff.

And as I mentioned in another thread: I WANT YOUR CAR

 

yeah, my friend isnt the best camera operater, most of the stuff edited out was too shaky

ha it was like the toyota commercial because i did almost total my car on that rock wall 1 turn away from the camera. I was on my 205 re92's so not that much confidence

 

That was pretty sick! Looks like soo much fun.

 

You're early apexing like crazy, and ditch-hooking would be faster on most of those corners than the pendulum turns you're doing. This is more accurately "dirt drifting".

Also, having your friends standing on the outside of the turn is just asking for a "I got hit by a rally car" video.

 

lol maybe because i didnt want to hit/fly off a cliff as you would with late apexing!

if i wouldve ditch hooked, i would be ordering a new bumper today

i wasnt doing it for time, i was doing it for fun and penduluming is fun no matter what
even if i were in an STi that day, the bald 205 tires wouldnt help

my car is way too stiff to be driving on dirt anymore. used to screw around back when it was stock. the underside of my car is pretty much tinted a dirty tan, can't get all the dirt out, heh.

haha cuz it was 5 hours away! wasnt really planning on it either. We have tons by our house, just gotta get past the gates :/

yeah im on agx and eibachs and it was ok on that road, but rallyX was pretty bad feeling...you and your 245s haha

 

the dirt was smoother than most roads

So that wasn't a sanctioned event? Just wondering, it looks really fun and I'd definitely do it with a dedicated rally car. Nice video and cool driving.
