I thought it was better than Shaolin Soccer because this has more references to classical kung fu (perfect for martial arts nerds like me!) and because it has a lot of actors who really do know kung fu in real life (it makes a difference!). Great flick but most of it will be lost on those who don't follow kung fu culture and Chinese classics (example: when you first see Stephen Chow, a classical Chinese song "Ambush on Ten Sides" is played, which is humorous to those who recognize it and can foreshadow what will happen next). Just me 2 cents
