Kyokushin Kaikan: The Fighting Karate
Kyokushin, "kenka no karate": full contact, neo-classical karate wherein the rules are bareknuckle matches with only a stipulation that no punches are to land over the neck (AKA on the head). Many practitioners of this style have gone into K-1 with slight tweaks (a la higher guard, getting accustomed to being hit in the face, and wearing gloves). I respect this style alot for its toughness in training and mentality. You'll get it when you try fighting them for yourself (I've made some good friends from this style)

Matsui is currently head of Kyokushinkaikan, the hand chosen successor to found Oyama Masatatsu.

Muay Thai > Karate. Why are alot of those guys trying to block the low roundhouse kicks with their hand? Should be using their leg to block instead. That's why the other guy is knocking them out.
